Joining Tobermory’s award-winning 12 Year Old in the unpeated core range, this 21 Year Old release is a small batch gem crafted on the Isle of Mull. Distilled on the 16th of December 1999, it matured initially in whisky refill casks before being transferred into Oloroso sherry casks on 26th February 2015—developing into a rich, sweet, and vibrant dram. Bottled at 46.3% ABV, this expression remains non-chill filtered and natural in colour, capturing the pure character of Tobermory.

Tasting Notes

Nose:
Inviting aromas of marzipan, hazelnuts, orange zest, and toffee, layered with treacle, citrus, and a subtle saltiness. Hints of caramel popcorn, brown sugar, and a touch of wine ferment add complexity.

Palate:
A beautifully sweet and layered profile with flavours of cherry wood, honeyed nougat, sticky toffee, and caramelised pineapples. Notes of sweet bread, butterscotch, apple, and toffee round out the experience.

Finish:
Long and memorable, with smooth crème brûlée sweetness, warming oak, sea salt, and a gently spiced, mouth-watering fade.
