Since 1897, Tamdhu has built its reputation on a single-minded focus: maturing its whisky in Oloroso sherry casks. Designed by renowned distillery architect Charles C. Doig and built beside the River Spey, Tamdhu was created with quality at its core.

For this 21-year-old release, Tamdhu uses a carefully balanced combination of first-fill and refill sherry casks, crafted from American and European oak and sourced from Jerez, Spain. Extended maturation brings a beautifully composed profile—where sweetness and dryness meet, and rich sherry oak unfolds in wave after wave. Revived in 2012 by Ian Macleod Distillers, Tamdhu continues to honour its original vision with integrity, patience, and sherry-cask precision.
