Lark Devil’s Storm No. 183 is a bold and richly layered Tasmanian single malt whisky from Lark Distillery, one of the pioneers of Australian whisky production.
This limited-edition release is matured in first-fill vintage Port and Sherry casks before being finished in American oak. The carefully selected casks create a full-bodied whisky with excellent depth, balance and complexity.
The nose opens with aromas of stewed plum, wildflower honey and scorched citrus, followed by roasted nuts and cacao. On the palate, rich flavours of dark chocolate, ripe blackberry and caramelised orchard fruit are complemented by a gentle layer of soft peat smoke.
The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of seasoned oak, burnt maple sweetness and delicate spice. Lark Devil’s Storm No. 183 is an expressive Australian whisky suited to collectors, gifting and special-occasion drinking.
