Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2024 Edition is Kilchoman’s annual sherry-matured limited release, named after the dark freshwater loch beside the distillery. Matured for at least 9 years in Oloroso sherry butts from Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin, this 2024 edition was selected by founder Anthony Wills from 23 casks, including a mix of fresh and refill wood across multiple distillation years. It brings together Kilchoman’s signature peat smoke with rich sherry fruit, dark sweetness, warming spice, and bright citrus freshness.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet BBQ smoke, cooked fruits, dark chocolate, dried figs
Palate: Gentle peat, honey-roasted nuts, cinnamon, malted barley
Finish: Fresh citrus, rich toffee sweetness
