Kanosuke Double Distillery 2025 Limited Edition is built around the distillery’s signature re-charred ex-shochu casks.
This release combines Hioki Pot Still Whisky with Kanosuke Single Malt, with a touch of rum-cask-matured whisky adding further richness and depth to the blend.
The result is a complex and fruit-driven whisky, combining ripe fruit, floral notes, warm spice and deeper bittersweet flavours with a lingering oak finish.
Tasting Notes
Nose:
Dried apricot, plum jam, canelé, custard cream and Japanese cinnamon, complemented by floral notes, summer melon, stone fruits and lemongrass.
Palate:
Ripe pear, grated apple, white peach, raisin, ginger and crème brûlée, developing into deeper bittersweet notes of black tea, clove, orange peel and red berries.
Finish:
Salted caramel with lingering oak.
