GlenDronach 18 Year Old Allardice is named after James Allardice, the renowned founder of the distillery. This richly sherried Highland single malt has been matured for 18 years in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.
This is the 2023 Release, offering a full-bodied and deeply sherried style with layers of dark fruit, spice, chocolate and citrus.
Tasting Notes
Nose:
Peppery and intensely sherried, with raisins, figs, dark fruits, traditional spices, dark chocolate, orange peel and citrus notes.
Palate:
Rich and full-bodied, with peppery spice, figs, raisins, fermented fruit and a slight tangy note.
Finish:
Medium-long, with gentle spice, bittersweet sherry notes and a slightly dry finish.
