Distillery
The Glen Keith Distillery, built in 1958 by Chivas Brothers in the Speyside town of Keith, was the first new distillery to open after the whisky crash of 1898. Primarily used to produce malt whisky for blends such as Passport and 100 Pipers, Glen Keith was mothballed in 1999 before being revived in 2013 following a major refurbishment. It remains a key contributor to Chivas’ portfolio, though official single malt releases are rare.
