G&M Connoisseurs Choice Balmenach 2009 61.9% 700ml

Part of the acclaimed Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice range, this Balmenach 2009 is a limited single cask Speyside release matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead and bottled in 2024 at cask strength. Distilled in 2009 and aged for 14 years, only 319 bottles were produced.

Presented non-chill filtered and with no colour added, this richly flavoured single malt delivers layers of vanilla, tangerine, dark fruit, spice, chocolate, and oak, leading into a long and warming finish.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Vanilla, zesty tangerine, milk chocolate, cinnamon, roasted coffee bean, nutmeg, and oak.
Palate: Spicy and rich, with liquorice, charred oak, morello cherry, plum skin, and dark chocolate.
Finish: Lingering aniseed and oak.
