Bruichladdich Octomore 16.2 Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

Octomore 16.2 is a cask-strength, super-peated Islay single malt (700ml, 58.1% ABV) made from 100% Scottish mainland barley and peated to 141.6 PPM. It’s the sherry-rich counterpart in the range, matured in a mix of 1st & 2nd fill Oloroso + PX sherry casks, plus ex-American oak. Natural colour and non-chill filtered.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Dark chocolate, dried fruits, sweet peat smoke, toasted oak, orange zest, coastal breeze

• Palate: Toffee, sultanas, treacle, ashy peat, espresso, maritime minerals, syrupy texture

• Finish: Long—smouldering smoke, sherried fruit sweetness, sea-spray lift

Best for: peat lovers who want sherry depth; collectors.
Serve: neat first, then a few drops of water to open the sherry and citrus.
