The whisky pours a polished copper or beech hue, with a beautiful bead formation. The nose opens with intriguing hints of truffle oil that gradually mellow into rich fruitcake aromas. As it breathes, a luscious sweetness emerges — dark treacle toffee deepens, evolving into freshly burnt toast and smoldering wood embers.

On the palate, it is big and mouth-filling with a smooth texture and a captivating balance of sweet and spicy notes. The first sip offers a cooling sensation before igniting with intensity. Flavours transition from a brief salty and savoury burst to rich toffee sweetness, leading into baked pastry nuances.

The finish is long, chewy, and warming, with a refreshing menthol lift, a subtle flintiness, and hints of burnt currants reminiscent of Christmas cake or dried orange peel. Almond notes linger beautifully in the aromatic aftertaste, followed by a late, charred astringency and a faint trace of smoke.
