Benriach The Forty is an exceptionally rare peated Speyside single malt, created by Master Blender Rachel Barrie from some of the distillery’s oldest whisky stocks.
Matured for 40 years in American oak bourbon and Portuguese port casks, it combines Benriach’s rich fruit character with refined layers of smoke, oak and dark chocolate.
The nose reveals sweet orange, ripe plum, honeyed pomelo, chocolate-coated berries, walnut and cherry liqueur. The palate is silky and fruit-forward, offering Morello cherry, nectarine, stewed apple and white peach, followed by a long finish of walnut and kumquat.
