A bold and beautifully decadent limited release from one of Scotland’s most exciting modern distilleries. Ardnamurchan Sauternes Cask (Peated) is made from 100% peated spirit, initially matured in 29 ex-bourbon casks for 3 years, before being carefully re-racked into Sauternes barriques for a further 3.5 years.
The result is a vibrant fusion of fresh peat smoke, tropical sweetness, and dessert-wine richness — with only 8,460 bottles released worldwide.

Tasting Notes

Nose:
Lime leaf and lemon balm, buttery shortbread and hay bales. Pineapple upside-down cake, desiccated coconut, crème de pêche, followed by stem ginger syrup, pencil shavings and tobacco.

Palate:
Nutmeg and dried ginger with orange blossom water. Smoked manuka honey, lemon meringue pie and salted cashew nuts. Notes of Tajin seasoning, Creamola foam and a nostalgic citrus-fizz sweetness, finishing with hickory wood, earthy depth and farmy smoke.

Finish:
Spicy, punchy and bright — a luscious, decadent dram with lingering sweetness and peat complexity.
