Ardnamurchan AD/Cask Strength Release is a bold and characterful single malt that captures the distillery’s signature coastal style with extra intensity. Matured in a combination of 90% bourbon casks and 10% sherry casks, it delivers a layered profile shaped by peat smoke, bright fruit and warming spice.
Made from a recipe of 87% peated spirit and 13% unpeated spirit, this release offers a beautifully balanced style despite its higher strength. Bottled at cask strength, and presented without chill filtration and with natural colour, it stays true to Ardnamurchan’s modern, natural approach to whisky-making.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Coastal peat smoke, vanilla and bright citrus zest.
Palate: Maritime peat, ripe orchard fruit, warm oak and gentle black pepper spice.
Finish: Long and lingering, with soft peat smoke and a subtle seaweed salinity.
