A Legacy of Excellence

Founded in 1826 by James Allardice, The GlenDronach is one of Scotland’s oldest licensed distilleries. Nestled in Forgue, Aberdeenshire, its rich heritage includes periods of innovation, growth, and revival — culminating in its modern renaissance under Master Blender Dr. Rachel Barrie. The distillery remains celebrated for its robust Highland spirit, matured exclusively in the finest Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks sourced from Andalucía, Spain.

Cask Strength Craftsmanship

Batch 10 is a luxurious unchill-filtered expression, drawn from a carefully curated selection of PX and Oloroso sherry casks handpicked by Dr. Barrie. Each cask contributes layers of luscious fruit, warm spice, and nutty depth — all enhanced by the natural richness of Spanish oak.
