Springbank Distillery, located in the historic whisky town of Campbeltown, is one of Scotland’s oldest independent family-owned distilleries. Established in 1828 on the site of Archibald Mitchell’s former illicit still, it stands today as one of only three remaining distilleries in the region.

The 2021 release of Springbank 18 Year Old was matured in a balanced combination of 50% sherry casks and 50% bourbon casks, offering a complex and nuanced dram that highlights the distillery’s traditional craftsmanship.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Abundant with ripe berries, accompanied by classic Springbank traits of dust, worn leather, and a touch of prune. Hints of gentle chill add to the intrigue.
Palate: Light peat mingles with sweet fruit and berries, echoing the nose. Delicate and well-balanced, with a restrained yet pleasing complexity.
Finish: Subtle and short, fading with soft sweetness and a whisper of peat.
