Bottled at 48% ABV, this expression brings together whisky matured in Oloroso Sherry casks, Cream Sherry casks, re-charred ex-shochu casks and new American white oak casks.
The combination delivers a rich and layered profile, with dark fruit, sweetness, spice and gentle oak character.
Tasting Notes
Nose:
Dark cherry, vanilla, Japanese cinnamon (Nikki) and raspberry.
Palate:
Soft raisins, dark chocolate, cloves and fruit pound cake.
Finish:
Mangosteen, followed by a calm and lingering finish with subtle oaky dryness.
