An elegant symphony of cask influence, the GlenAllachie Cuvée Cask Finish is a masterful creation from renowned Master Distiller Billy Walker, showcasing his visionary approach to cask selection and blending.

After initial aging in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, the whisky underwent secondary maturation in a unique combination of four hand-selected wine barriques sourced from prestigious European producers:

  • Languedoc (France): Adds refined stone fruit elegance

  • Recioto della Valpolicella (Italy): Brings gentle spice and rich texture

  • Two Premier Cru Classé Châteaux (Bordeaux): Impart opulent sweetness and layered complexity

Each cask was closely monitored before being harmoniously blended into a bold, balanced, and truly distinctive single malt.

Tasting Notes:

  • Colour: Golden bronze

  • Nose: Orange blossom, maraschino cherry, espresso, and honeysuckle, with undertones of candied stone fruits, hazelnuts, lavender, and cinnamon

  • Palate: Deep layers of dark chocolate, red currants, and burnt coffee, evolving into crystallised almonds, blackberries, and orange zest, finishing with ginger and liquorice spice
