The tenth edition of GlenAllachie’s 10 Year Old Cask Strength marks a continued evolution of the distillery’s vision under the guidance of Master Distiller Billy Walker. Building on the success of its acclaimed predecessors, this release showcases exceptional cask management and skilled craftsmanship.

To achieve its signature Sherried profile, Billy Walker carefully selected a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, artfully blended with spirit matured in red wine barriques and American virgin oak barrels. The result is a richly layered single malt, balancing dark fruits with sweet spices in perfect harmony.

Bottled at a robust cask strength of 58.6% ABV, this whisky is non-chill filtered and free from added colour — delivering an authentic, unadulterated tasting experience.

Tasting Notes

• Colour: Intensely rich mahogany.

• Nose: Waves of honeycomb, orange zest, and treacle, unfolding into fig syrup, mocha, and poached orchard fruits, with a hint of cinnamon and butterscotch.

• Palate: Layers of dark chocolate, honeycomb, and caramelised demerara sugar lead into treacle, mocha, and ginger, finishing with lingering notes of plum and toffee.
