Crafted in the rugged beauty of Orkney, Highland Park remains Scotland’s most northerly whisky distillery, just a short distance from its neighbour, Scapa. While its origins are somewhat shrouded in legend, the distillery was officially founded in 1798 by David Robertson on the site of an illicit still once run by the infamous smuggler and former priest, Magnus Eunson.

Highland Park has built a reputation as one of the most balanced and versatile single malts in the world. Famed whisky writer Michael Jackson once described it as “the greatest all-rounder in the world of whisky.” Its signature character comes from the use of sherry-seasoned casks and the unique influence of heather-rich Orcadian peat.

This 15 Year Old expression, Viking Heart, is presented in a beautifully crafted ceramic decanter—an homage to the traditional earthenware vessels used to store whisky centuries ago. Matured in a combination of first-fill European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks, along with select refill casks, this whisky is bottled at 44% ABV for a rich and nuanced profile.
