Pittyvaich 1989 Aged 30 Years – 2020 Special Release (700ml)
Volume: 700ml ABV: 50.8% Age: 30 Years Country: Scotland
A true rarity from a long-lost Speyside distillery, the Pittyvaich 1989 Aged 30 Years is a treasure for collectors and connoisseurs alike. Built in 1975 and closed in 1993, Pittyvaich’s brief existence saw its spirit primarily used in Bell’s blends, often matured in ex-Sherry casks. The distillery has since been demolished, and with stocks dwindling rapidly, each bottling is a piece of whisky history.
This 2020 Diageo Special Release, part of the Rare by Nature series, was matured for three decades in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, resulting in remarkable depth and character. Presented in a beautifully illustrated gift tin featuring a pheasant, this release is limited to just 7,056 bottles worldwide—making it a prime candidate for both enjoying and investing.
