An exceptional expression of Highland elegance, the Dalmore 21 Year Old 2023 Edition is a luxurious single malt matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and finished in rare, first-fill Matusalem Oloroso sherry butts from the legendary González Byass bodega in Jerez, Spain.

These sherry casks previously held 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso — their deep, rich influence imparts extraordinary depth, refinement, and character to the whisky. Personally selected by Richard Paterson, these casks represent the pinnacle of Dalmore’s cask curation artistry.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: Bitter dark chocolate, overripe Seville oranges, Colombian coffee, and toffee apple

  • Palate: Sweet liquorice stick, Black Forest fruits, roasted walnuts, and thick marzipan

  • Finish: Lingering notes of ginseng, pear tarte tatin, and blood orange (Sanguinello)
